The Cathay Pacific “The Arrival” Lounge is an interesting one. Located between T1 & T2, you head through immigration and out of the baggage reclaim area, passing the Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge to find a very cozy lounge. Cozy because it is TINY!
I arrived in the morning around peak time, as such, trying to find an available seat was difficult. I placed myself on the shower list, and there were 5 people ahead of me. The lounge has around 10 showers, so you may find that there is a pretty long wait for these facilities.
The lounge offers a small range of continental breakfast, along with several hot options including congee.
It’s not a lounge that I would use to relax in, it’s really only a place to grab a light bite to eat and shower after a long journey – heading to the Plaza Premium Lounge opposite would be my recommendation if you wanted to relax and/or do some work.
The CX Arrivals Lounge is accessible to CX First/Business passengers, and One World Emerald FFs when arriving on a long haul CX flight. **No additional guests are permitted unfortunately**.
As alluded to previously, if you have a Priority Pass or other membership that offers access, I would suggest going to the CX lounge to shower as showers in the Plaza Premium Lounge are chargeable – then head over to the Plaza Premium Lounge (which does allow an additional guest free of charge), see my Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge write up for more details.
