
Imagine an entire theme park that is span over 3 levels with endless rides both inside and out! From exciting rides to ice-skating, the original trick eye museum, traditional folk museum and a lovely lake, Lotte World Seoul is a great place for kids, families and young adults alike.
What is Lotte World
Located at the heart of Songpu-Gu, Lotte World is a fun theme park for visitors all year round. They divide the areas into Adventure theme (indoors) and Magic Island (outdoors). It is situated along the Seokchonhosu Lake, making it the most popular spots for lovers.
Other than the rides, there is a baby corner for kids, ice skating rink for all families, slow rides for children and lots of benches by the lake for couples. It is basically Disneyland, but Korean version. Ps, don’t forget to get a love lock and lock it by the river in Lotte World!
Getting to Lotte World
Most people drive as they are with families, but you can also take the subway to Jamsil Station (Seoul Subway Line 2 & 8), Exit 4. Lotte World is connected directly to the station.
9 Rides You Must Take

Gyro Series: Gyro Drop, Gyro Swing, Gyro Spin
You will be brought up to a high altitude of 70 metres and experience a sudden drop down and experience a free fall of 2 seconds. Or choose other option where you are freely spinning around in midair, over-looking the theme park. Last of the Gyro series in Lotte World, another ride that lets you experience a 360 degrees view of Lotto World at lightning speed.
Log Flume Ride
Plunge down an almost 90 degrees angle down into the waters, with this Jurassic Park themed ride.
Spanish Pirate Ship
Like a Viking ship, this Spanish pirate ship will bring you screaming at the top of your lungs as it plunges down with a high velocity.
Trick Eye Museum
Take quirky pictures with this interesting trick eye museum. Follow the instructions and take amazing pictures.
French Revolution
Ever had a roller coaster ride in, around and within a building? You can hear the screams of people filling the area as the wheels ride along the tracks!
Giant Loop
Want to go 360 degrees round a circle? This giant loop allows you to do that!
Ice Skating Rink
This is one of the popular places for kids. You can rent the skate at the ticketing booth there. It’s located indoors at level B3. Its operating hours are from 10.30am – 10.30pm.
