Flight is all about comfort, even if it is for a short distance, right? I have had extremely bad flights before, with small space, unfriendly staff and lots of turbulence. This, however, is yet another amazing flight with Singapore Airlines, via Silkair.
Silkiest Journey in the Region
Rated as the second best airlines in the world, Singapore Airlines is my favourite airlines. Silkair is their regional wing, that flights close distance. I have taken them several times to Thailand and this time, it was to the amazing Langkawi. Unlike Flyscoot, Silkair is a premium carrier in the region.
Why Fly Silkair
There are so many reasons to fly with them, but the 3 main reasons are comfort, food bar and inflight entertainment. Many other regional airlines are low-cost carriers, which is uncomfortable for passengers. They squeeze as many seats inside, with small legroom space.
Comfort is important. With SilkAir, you get a cushion for your journey and a nice blanket, in case you are cold. The chairs are also adjustable, so I can lean back for a quick nap during the flight. In other airlines, it is a challenge to take a nice nap.
One thing I look forward to on plane rides, is the inflight entertainment. The selection of movies helps me to catch up on all the films missed! SilkAir does not have personalized movie screens, but it’s even better! You can log on to the free inflight wifi on your smart devices and you can watch their movies for free!
Seriously, the most important thing is still food. With SilkAir, you don’t have to pay for food, it’s included. The food are simple snacks like a sandwich or chicken pie. Nonetheless, they also do have a wide range of beverages like Singapore Airlines! Choose Tiger Beer, the Singapore beer when you’re onboard.
Have a safe flight with SilkAir! The best seats is in Row 9, where you have larger leg room space.
