Pools are great, infinity pools are even better and rooftop infinity pools are the best! Singapore is known for the famous rooftop infinity pool in Marina Bay Sands. However, I found another awesome infinity pool you cannot miss!
What caught my eye at first was its lovely architecture. The wavy lines and unique structure is what I noticed every time I drive past Parkroyal Hotel. The lines remind me of rocks, mountains and platonic plates I’ve always read about.
If you love architecture, you will love these beautiful buildings in Singapore. (Download the map offline!)
The infinity is located on the 5th floor that overlooks Hong Lim Park and you can see Marina Bay Sands just ahead! It felt so surreal to be relaxing in the pool on a Saturday night while looking over the busy city. There was also a concert going on in the park that day.
The Infinity Pool
The pool is separated into 2 segments. One part is smaller, more personal area, while the other part is a long stretch where you can also swim in. I love the personal part the most. There is also a sitting area in the pool that has Jacuzzi bubbles!
You see that red “nest” over there? That’s my favourite part of the pool level. This red one is the most isolated one that stretches out of the pool. There are several “nests” around where you can leave your belongings (clothes) and head to the pool for a dip. But it’s not only a place to leave your stuff. We spent almost an hour in the nest, wrapped around our warm towel and enjoying the present.
Inside the Nest
If you are not a fan of water and pools, this level also has the “nests” all around. I would love to spend my day in one of these nests to write, read or chill with a friend. The nests are so comfortable, feel like home and I can just spend the whole day there!
So we may or may not have spent about an hour chilling in the nest and taking tons of pictures because it’s simply too beautiful.
