This would be a 1-day itinerary to Explore in Hong Kong Disneyland. It is very rush, so 2 days would be a better fit.
Upon entering Hong Kong Disneyland Park, you will arrive at the train station. If you are short of time or are tired, you can go to the train station and take the train around the park for one ride, to have an idea of what attractions you want to see. Otherwise, let’s start walking!

Main Street, USA
You will start with Main Street USA. Visit the animation museum to see the works of your childhood friends come to live. There are also shops and restaurants along the way if you are hungry. Purchase your souvenirs before leaving the park! Find the balloon man and take a picture holding that insane amount of balloons. Don’t fly away like Mary Poppins!
You will come to the roundabout. Make a left turn to Adventureland.
Start with Tarzan’s Treehouse, where you see Tarzan’s story in 3D. Then watch the Festival of the Lion King at 12:00pm.
My favourite would be Jungle River Cruise. I will not spoil the surprise, but you’re in for a treat!
Continue left to Grizzly Gulch. Wesley and I screamed our hearts out at the steep backwards drop from Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars! Best to go in pairs as you will be seated next to someone. Have a squirting good time at Geyser Gulch too, as children can spray each other with water guns!
Head north enter Garden of Wonders at Mystic Point. Visit Mystic Manor and be amazed at the animations. Follow the story line to find out the secrets in the castle.
Toy Story Land
Walk along the end towards the right and you are in MY childhood: Toy Story Land! There are attractions for kids like Barrel of Fun and Slinky Dog Spin. We took the RC Racer, which like a Viking Ship with a 90º drop! Take the last seats at the back. When you are facing the ground at 27 meters high, being angled at 90º from the ground, you thank the creator of safety belts. My body felt limp as gravity lifted me away from my seat. As we descended, vertigo hit me and I think my soul escaped my body for a short moment before returning back.
Trevellers Tip: force your head and neck backwards, towards the seat when descending down! This is to prevent any sprains in your neck.
Walk to right at the end and enter Fantasyland. Watch Mickey’s PhilharMagic (honestly the best thing there). Then, take a ride on Cinderella Carousel. That is the most popular attractions, and it takes forever to queue. Oh, this is also something that guys do not enjoy. I had to force Valentin on the carousel with me. Meet your favourite childhood friends in Fantasy Gardens for photo taking! Say hello to Winnie the Pooh for me when you’re there.
As you continue walking right, you will go towards It’s A Small World. You HAVE to take the ride, even though it is always filled with people. It’s A Small World is located after Mad Hatter Tea Cups.
Either walk south towards Tomorrowland or take the train from Fantasyland Train Station.
At Tomorrowland, try the Space Mountain and take the roller coaster ride in the dark. It keeps your heart pumping so rapidly because you have absolutely no idea what’s coming up next! The stars and galaxy inside helps to sooth that anxiety though. Up next, play lazer tag in in Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Kill those aliens and save the day! If you have time, head to the cinemas there, as they show different movies. Lastly, you cannot leave without trying out the Autopia ride. Little kids can finally drive! Grab a bite at the food places there, if you are hungry.
Fireworks To End The Night
Head back to the roundabout at Main Street USA, opposite Sleep Beauty’s Castle. End the magical night with an even more magical fireworks display show. Listen to your childhood Disney songs playing at the same time.
If you have time, you should also visit Disneyland Resort Hotel for high tea or dinner, to complete the entire Disneyland experience!
