The BA First Class Lounge is a lovely space to relax in before or between flights. I appreciate the F&B spread and the fact that it’s a pretty nice haven to get away from the hustle and bustle. They have recently created a really slick First Class Security to Lounge experience, which means you can go through dedicated security straight through to the lounge, with zero hassle.
It should be noted that although this is labelled a First Class lounge, it is mainly frequented by BA Gold/One World Emerald customers as anyone flying BA First Class will be in the Concorde Lounge next door.
The food is of a solid quality – not on par with the likes of CX or LH First Class Lounges, however, there are both A La Carte and self-serve options, along with unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the top shelf.
First Class Lounge vs BA Galleries Lounge
The difference between the First Class lounge and the BA Galleries lounge above is the following:
- More space
- Improved F&B selection
- The view is an aviators dream
