I bet you don’t know this. Mr Zamir Ahmad has been “pulling” tea for over 40 years now. He started making Teh Tarik since young and become a tea expert in it now. I went to taste this incredible goodness for only S$1.00!
Getting There
Take the train to Bugis MRT Station and walk to Bussorah Street or take the bus to North Bridge Road. Or you can drive there, since it is located alone the small roads.

It’s a little store right opposite Kampong Glam Café, in a corner.
The Best Teh Tarik

Once my lips touched the tea, silky warm tea floods my mouth, filling it with an aroma of sweetness and fragrant tea. I could not stop drinking it. And you know what was worse? My fellow explorer decided that he wanted some too and stole all of my tea away!
We met a few Malay ladies that were having some snacks at that time. They visit this place every weekend for many years now to drink their tea, eat traditional Malay cakes and chat with each other. What a nice way to pass the weekends!

The owner Mr Zamir has gone home back to India.
His assistants are making the tea now and tastes really awful.
Sad.
Hi Ali Shah,
Thanks for the update! It is indeed a pity that the thirst quenching teh tarik is no longer made by Mr Zamir. He was really friendly when I drink my tea there. Hopefully his assistants get better with practice!
Love,
Lisa
Is he back already?
Hi Keerok,
Unfortunately Mr Zamir went home to India. His assistants are preparing the tea now instead!
Enjoy.
