No doubt, Macau had a Portuguese history, but it is still brought up in the Chinese culture, so you can find Chinese food here. What Is Bean Curd Flower
Bean curd flower is the literal translation of the Cantonese name for this food. 豆腐 (dao foo) means beancurd, and 花 is flower. You have a different version of this food in Singapore and Malaysia too. It is called dao huay in Singapore and Malaysia. It is a different dialect/language than Cantonese.
So bean curd flower is basically jelly-like beancurd that literally melts in your mouth. It is eaten with sugar syrup or orange sugar crystal. Lightly scope a mouthful with your spoon and bring it to your lips. Feel the soft silky goodness fill your mouth as the sweetness from the sugar syrup lingers in your tongue and slides down your throat. This dessert can be eaten hot or cold

This shop makes their own beancurd flower, and have been making them for 50 years now. I had their cold beancurd flower. A scope of goodness in a spoon, I placed the cold white soft beancurd jelly into my mouth. It melt immediately and I was already longing for the next bite.
Other than beancurd flower, this shop also has many other things like noodles and chicken feet. When you are there, look across all tables. Every table has at least a bowl of beancurd each, usually after their noodles. You can also see newspaper clippings of their famous beancurd on the walls!
